Tessa Weeks, NCRW, founded her résumé service, Make Every Word Count, in 1983. Her clients range from entry-level to senior management and work in a wide variety of fields including Sales, Education, Legal, IT, Health Care, Hospitality, Office Support, and blue-collar trades. Prior to opening her own business, Tessa worked in the legal and health care fields as a secretary/administrative assistant.

Tessa originally hails from the U.K. and is proud to have become an American Citizen in 1995. She attended Pitman’s Secretarial College in London, England, and Community College in the U.S. earning Associates degrees in Commercial Art and Liberal Arts.

In addition to her membership in NRWA, Tessa is an active member of Ventura County Professional Women’s Network and co-founder of the first Chapter of Ali Lassen’s Leads Club in Ventura County, serving for the last seven years as Chapter Consultant for her local area.
