Pat Criscito is Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) with more than 28 years of experience. She is the president and founder of ProType, Ltd., an international writing, editing, typesetting, and personal branding service established in 1980 and based in Colorado Springs. Pat is the author 12 books for Barron’s, including e-Resumes, Designing the Perfect Resume, Barron’s Guide to Distance Learning, How to Write Better Resumes and Cover Letters (all in their second or third editions), and Interview Answers in a Flash (her newest book). She is also a contributing writer to The Wall Street Journal’s careerjournal.com, The Boston Globe, Colorado Springs Business Journal, and other publications. Pat has written more than 15,000 resumes and speaks nationally on career and entrepreneurial subjects.

Pat was elected Treasurer of the National Resume Writers Association (NRWA) for 2009 and 2010, a position she held for five years in the early 2000s. She also served on the board of trustees of the Better Business Bureau Foundation for seven years and sat on the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) board of directors for two years. She was the co-founder and a board member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association for seven years, a unique entrepreneurial training/mentoring program for at-risk youth. Pat is currently the President of the Board of Directors of Desert Harvest and is an EDGE University certified entrepreneurial trainer. Pat enjoys reading, gardening, gourmet cooking, music, singing, and her Welsh Corgi dogs.
